Tino is Whittle’s general counsel. Prior to that, he was a member of the corporate-development team and head of global tax and structure at Patheon, where he played an integral part in its I.P.O., debt funding, management of the I.P./contract portfolio, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Hill Smith King & Wood, Tino was a tax partner at an international law firm. He also serves as an adjunct professor of taxation in the graduate tax program at the University of Utrecht and its affiliated universities in the U.S., and is a frequent lecturer at seminars for Bloomberg. Tino received his LL.B. and LL.M., with honors, from the University of Utrecht & Amsterdam, the Netherlands, including completion of a joint program with the University of California, Berkeley. He received his LL.M. in U.S. taxation, cum laude, from Washington School of law. He has published various articles that focus on international taxation. He is a member of the bar in New York and Amsterdam.
