Hailing from New York City, Rachel has over a decade of experience working in New York independent schools. During her tenures at Horace Mann and Ethical Culture Fieldston School, she established expertise in assessing needs of students, designing innovative curricula to advance student development, and leading cross-functional teams. Rachel earned her B.A. from Connecticut College, where she double majored in Psychology and Dance, and a M.S.Ed in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Sarah Lawrence College. She is inspired by Whittle School & Studios' emphasis on individually honoring each child as an intellectual, inquisitive and courageous learner with their own special gift to contribute to the world.
