Before starting at Whittle, Blair worked extensively in the international development field focusing on women’s and children’s rights. She was an Associate at Plan International and Chemonics International here in Washington, D.C. supporting USAID education and health policy projects that impacted youth communities. She received both her B.A. and M.P.A at New York University (NYU), majoring in Sociology, Politics, and International Development. During her time at NYU, Blair worked with several youth groups in the greater New York City Area that focus on youth advocacy work. In addition, she has spent significant time working throughout the U.S. and around the world including Nepal, Tanzania, and Belgium supporting projects and organizations that promote children’s rights and gender equality.
