STEM for Young Learners: A Natural Fit

For early learners, STEM is a natural approach to learning about science and technology. A comprehensive STEM curriculum goes beyond popular activities like coding and robotics to guide students through the “why?” and “how?” of natural phenomena. At Whittle School and Studios, we have replaced traditional science and technology classes with hands-on, project-based STEM. For younger students in Grades 1-5, everyday curiosities propel their learning about human progress in the natural world. This webinar offered by Gannett Cassidy, Head of STEM Lower School & Grade 5 STEM Teacher, Shenzhen Campus describes the fundamentals of an elementary STEM education and how Whittle Schools & Studios is encouraging a more intuitive, holistic approach to learning.
